I had my usual “damn I wish I could easily manage snow tires” first snow day of the season yesterday.
I had arranged to buy 5 used Rubicon wheels to have snow tires mounted , but the trailer where they had been placed to ship to Indianapolis was stolen . I fortunately hadn’t paid for them yet , but was sorely disappointed.

I talked my mom’s partner into buying cooper studded snow tires without the studs for his chevy truck and they have worked out really well and we’re very reasonably priced.

Yeah, it’s not (entirely) cost, mainly logistics. There are one or two ways I could manage the swap but for various reasons it wouldn’t be simple.
